- part time students are stern are definitely not treated equally as well as full time students. variety of classes provided in evenings is much worse than those provided in the daytime (even if, as stern promoters told us, full time students are sometimes frustrated to have second choice in evening classes to part time students).
- stern cannot factor in the "opportunity cost" that students bear when choosing one program or another. they charge what they charge, and services should be provided on that basis. if mcdonald's is around the corner, but i choose to drive five miles to another, that distant mcdonald's doesn't give me an extra burger as compensation for my troubles.
this said, i wonder if stern's policies do not have something to do with conflict of interests. if a bank or non-profit is paying for me to get a degree, does that sponsoring company really want stern to groom me for a sparkly new job?

0 Star(s) awarded would you like to explain a bit more , i have heard a lot about stern's policy towards part-time , but the question is how bad is it ? is it still worth goin for ?
0 Star(s) awarded The worst part is that part-time pay significantly more than full-time students. Part-time students pay "by credit" whereas full-time students pay "by semester". You think if you were paying more you would get a better deal, especially at a business school. Not so.
